David Hendrawirawan is a data and AI strategy leader with over two decades of experience in digital transformation, governance architecture, and risk & compliance for highly regulated industries. He serves as an Instructor at The University of Texas at Austin, teaching in master’s programs for both full-time students and working professionals. His courses span AI governance, cybersecurity law, privacy engineering, and data product innovation—equipping future leaders with the skills to navigate the rapidly evolving digital risk and compliance landscape.
Currently Principal Advisor at Informatica, David develops and delivers AI governance and architecture offerings that help organizations achieve responsible innovation. His career includes leadership roles at Deloitte, Dell Technologies, and several consulting ventures, where he advised Fortune 500 clients on AI risk management, privacy, and secure data transformation initiatives.
David is a sought-after speaker at industry and security forums including MLOps World & Generative AI Summit, InfraGard, the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and ISACA. He holds an M.S. in Management Information Systems and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
